HAVE YOU CONNECTED TO GOD TODAY?
Take a moment to read this passage from God’s Word:
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
John 13:35 NIV
Challenge for the day:
I’ve learned that my love is available in the good times, but develops and is tested in the bad times. In any relationship I’ve ever had, going through difficult times has refined my love between family members, friends, people in my life. Jesus says that the evidence of being disciples of Jesus is loving one another. It’s the proof that you belong to Jesus. I’m asking God to help me love the way He loves every day. This nation is going through difficult times. Why don’t you and I make an intentional effort to love someone today that normally we would simply stay away from? How about asking God to put love in your heart for them, and then going and connecting with them. It can be a simple “hello,” a simple “how can I pray for you.” “Everyone will know you are disciples of Jesus, if you love one another.”
Pause and talk to God now and say “Lord, give me Your love for people different than me, may I love the way You love. In Jesus Name. Amen.”
